Tek Kemerli Bridge (Single-Arch Bridge)

Tek Kemerli Köprü (the "Single-Arch Bridge") is a historic single-span stone bridge located within the Erdoğan Akdağ Campus of Bozok University, near the two-arched Kemer Bridge on the same campus. The bridge has undergone various repairs over time, with cement plaster interventions visible in places on its facades. Roughly 5 meters wide, its upper edge is finished with a stone molding, above which rises a cut-stone parapet wall. Named for its single arch, the bridge — when considered alongside the nearby two-arched Kemer Bridge — represents one of two separate historic bridge structures serving different water crossings along the same old road network in the area. Both bridges now lying within the boundaries of Bozok University's campus has helped ensure their preservation as part of everyday academic life on the grounds. Although the bridge carries no inscription recording its exact construction date, its materials and stonework closely resemble those of other Ottoman-era stone bridges in the region, such as Kemer Bridge and Karabıyık Bridge.
