Terms of Use

1. Parties and the Service

Şehrim Cepte is a mobile app combining a city guide (places, events, routes, local food), a social feed (posts, comments, likes, follows), private messaging and business accounts. The service is provided by Tuskun (Mücahit Enes Yurtlu). By downloading, registering for or using the app, you accept these terms.

2. Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the knowledge and consent of your parent or guardian. You must be 18 or older to open a business account or purchase advertising services.

3. Account and Security

You must register in order to share posts, comment, send messages, create routes or open a business account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you become aware of unauthorised use of your account.

You may not create a fake account in someone else's name, impersonate another person, or transfer your account.

4. Content Rules and Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content

You are solely responsible for the posts, comments, photos, videos, messages, routes and business information you share.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Hate speech, racism, discrimination and incitement to violence.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats and targeting individuals.
  • Sexual content, obscenity, and any content involving the exploitation of children.
  • Violent, disturbing or graphic imagery.
  • Promotion of illegal goods and services, drugs, weapons and gambling content.
  • Spam, misinformation, fraud and manipulative posting.
  • Content infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
  • Sharing another person's private information without their consent.

Content breaching these rules may be removed without prior notice, and your account may be suspended or permanently closed.

5. Reporting, Blocking and Moderation

  • A reporting mechanism is provided for every post, comment, message and user profile.
  • You can block any user. A user you block cannot follow you or send you messages, and you will not see their content.
  • Reports are reviewed within 24 hours at the latest; content found to breach the rules is removed and action is taken on the account where necessary.
  • If you wish to appeal a decision about your account, contact us at info@tuskun.com.
  • We reserve the right to pre-screen, remove and restrict access to content where we consider it necessary.

6. Rights in Your Content

You retain the rights in the content you share. By sharing it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, display and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and promoting the service. This licence ends when you delete your content, which may persist temporarily in technical backups.

You represent that you hold the necessary rights in the content you share and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.

7. Copyright Complaints

If you believe your copyright has been infringed, contact info@tuskun.com with: the rights holder's identity and contact details, a description of the work said to be infringed, a link to the content in the app, a statement of good faith and a confirmation that your statement is accurate. Where a complaint is upheld the content is removed; repeat infringers have their accounts closed.

8. Business Accounts

Business account holders are responsible for the accuracy of the services, menus, prices, opening hours, events, campaigns and reservation information they publish. Business profiles and listings may be reviewed before publication. Misleading, inaccurate or unlawful listings are removed.

We are not a party to the reservation, sale or service relationship between a business and a user, and cannot be held responsible for disputes arising from it.

9. Advertising Services and Wallet

The advertising purchase feature may not be enabled in all versions or all cities. Where it is enabled:

  • You must add balance to your wallet in order to buy ad placements. Top-up requests are credited after review.
  • Wallet balance cannot be converted to cash, transferred to another account, and does not accrue interest.
  • Unspent balance may be refunded for campaigns that have not been published. No refund is given for published ads to the extent impressions have been delivered.
  • Ad content found to breach the rules will not be published or will be removed; in that case the unspent amount is returned to your wallet.

10. Routes, Place Information and Directions

You can keep the routes you create public or private. Place, event, transport, weather, prayer time and on-call pharmacy information in the guide may come from third-party sources and is provided for information only. Assess current conditions yourself before relying on directions and map data.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the app to harass others, create fake accounts, use automated tools or bots, scrape data, circumvent security measures, reverse engineer the app, deceive the system or damage the infrastructure.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or close your account without notice if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Account > Delete Account. On termination your access to your content ends.

13. Provision of the Service and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may add, change or remove features. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data. We give no warranty as to the accuracy of content produced by users and third parties.

14. App Stores

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • These terms are between you and Tuskun; Apple and Google are not parties to them.
  • We alone are responsible for maintenance and support of the app.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on any prohibited-party list.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, your right to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and courts of your place of residence is reserved.

16. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. We will notify you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
