Sarıkaya Thermal Springs

Sarıkaya Thermal Springs is a modern spa facility in the Kaplıcalar neighbourhood of Sarıkaya district centre, Yozgat, officially declared a thermal tourism centre by Council of Ministers decree. Its spring water, from the fluoride-containing oligometallic group, reaches 48°C with a flow rate of 28 litres per second; Ministry of Health analyses show it can support treatment of rheumatic conditions, gynaecological ailments and skin diseases. The facility offers separate bathing sections for men and women, steam rooms, and accommodation, drawing visitors from Yozgat and neighbouring provinces seeking both treatment and relaxation. The spa draws on the same thermal source as the nearby historic Sarıkaya Roman Bath (Kral Kızı Hamamı), but the two are distinct structures — the spa is a modern health-tourism facility, while the Roman Bath is an archaeological ruin on UNESCO's World Heritage Tentative List. Located roughly 77-80 km from Yozgat city centre, the facility is easily accessible and surrounded by accommodation options.
